Heavens Light

One night when I took our dogs to a dog park near our home, the sunset happened to be especially beautiful. I proceeded to run around the park, snapping several photos with my cell phone. A few moments later, a woman asked me why I was so interested in the sky. I told her that I’m an artist and I love painting sunrises and sunsets. She then told me that she loved taking photos of sunsets. Would I like to see some of her photos and possibly paint few? Of course I agreed! The next day she sent me several wonderful sunset photos. “Heaven’s Light,” was inspired by one of the photos she took from Catalina, Arizona.
