Blessings

When my husband and I arrived in Tucson, I felt grateful for many things: grateful he found a good job so we could leave the ice and snow behind, blessed that our move had been so easy and blessed my health was so much better. Every night when the sun set, I never ceased to be amazed at the incredible colors in the sky and how they changed from pale to intense in just a moment. I found it somewhat shocking that others, who had spent their lives surrounded by so much beauty, seemed to take it for granted. As I painted Blessings, I knew I never would!
